I studied at Bournville College of Art and specialised in illustration at Birmingham College of Art. I then gained valuable experience whilst working in art studios for the next ten years.

Since then I have worked for over 30 years as a successful freelance artist, working in all mediums but specialising in watercolour.

For the past three years I have enjoyed demonstrating and teaching the art of watercolour painting to small groups. I continue to work commercially, undertake private commissions and still try to find time to indulge my passion for plein-air painting.
